About Sue Rice

Nicknamed the ‘female David Ogilvy’, Sue Rice is a long-time marketing strategist, professional copywriter and international communications expert. A veteran student of marketing both on and offline, Rice is well-known for her legendary writing and presentation skills and out-of-the-box thinking.

She currently runs a premiere copywriting agency called SLICE International which offers 3 lines of products:

  • Live virtual workshops which teach individuals how to produce high-converting emails, webinars, web pages and much more
  • Copy critiques which can help you dramatically improve any writing asset 
  • Done-For-You copywriting services for a variety of your writing needs including email sequences, website pages, video scripts and much more.

A native Californian and Stanford University graduate, Sue started her career working for Ogilvy & Mather on Madison Avenue. A few years later, she was asked to be part of a 4 person team to help run BBDO Europe headquarters in Paris as their Communications Director in charge of 25 countries and $3 billion worth of business.
In the mid-90s, Sue started her own communications company supplying marketing strategy and copy to some of the world’s best known companies.

She has worked with hundreds of large international companies including ASSA ABLOY, BBDO Advertising, Ericsson, FIAT, General Foods, Gillette, L’Oréal, LEGO, Nike, SNCF Railways, TBWA Advertising, the United Nations, the University of California and Young & Rubicam Advertising. She has also worked with dozens of entrepreneurs and startups.
Sue Rice is a published author and veteran public speaker.

An American, she is based in France and divides her time between Paris and her home in Burgundy.
